Saint Joseph's softball team topped Massachusetts, 5-4, on Sunday as the Hawks completed a three-game series sweep of the Minutewomen.
How It Happened - Game One
• Saint Joseph's took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second as 
Lauren Pscolka singled home 
Hailey Malito.
• The Minutewomen jumped ahead 2-1 in the top of the fourth on a two-out, two-run single by Abby Packard.
• A four-run bottom of the fourth saw the Hawks retake the lead, 5-2.
• The Hawks tied it up at 2-2 as 
Jessica Gaughan doubled home pinch runner 
Karlee Smith.
• 
Payton Baxter put St. Joe's back in front, 3-2, later in the inning on a sacrifice fly that scored Gaughan.
• 
Hailey Malito added the third run for Saint Joseph's as she scored from third on a wild pitch to make it 4-2.
• 
Sarah Cancila singled up the middle to score 
Kayla Tauber to push the Hawks' lead to 5-2.
• A two-run home run by Bella Pantoja brought the Minutewomen within 5-4 in the top of the fifth.
• Saint Joseph's set UMass down in order in the sixth and seventh innings to preserve the win.
