PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Junior Andrea Florida (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) was named to the 2007 Academic All-Atlantic 10 team on Tuesday afternoon. The honor is the first for the junior who has been named to the PhillySIDA/Philadelphia Inquirer All-Academic team once before in 2006. Florida finished 13th in the Atlantic 10 Championships on October 27. Florida is a food marketing major with a 3.86 cumulative GPA.

Christina DeRosa and Jesse Regnier of Massachusetts were been named the Atlantic 10 Student-Athletes of the Year in men's and women's cross country, respectively, in voting conducted among the Conference's sports information directors.

Only six members were named to the women's and men's cross country All-Academic teams.

Florida and the Saint Joseph's cross country teams will conclude its seasons at the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Van Courtlandt Park on Saturday.
