PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's freshman harrier Adrienne Beltz (Hamburg, Pa. / Hamburg) has been named the conference's Rookie of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday. Beltz finished fourth at the Duquesne Duals on Saturday in a field of 77 competitors, helping the Hawks down St. Bonaventure and Carnegie Mellon. The freshman finished with a time of 18:10, beating teammate Suzie McHenry by 19 seconds.

The honor marks the first time that Beltz has been recognized by the Atlantic 10 and the first time a Hawk has been cited this fall.

Saint Joseph's returns to action at the Penn State Invitational this Saturday afternoon.
