Pack of Six lead Hawks in Haverford Time Trials

The Saint Joseph's women's cross country team opened the 2007 season Friday at the Haverford Time Trials led by a pack of runners finishing just outside of the top 10. The race was won by Katie Weng of Bryn Mawr College in 19:23 and there was no team scoring.

Juniors Andrea Florida (11th) and Amy Rhein (12th) recorded identical times of 20:46 over the three-mile course, while just a second behind was sophomore Anna Cushing (13th) and freshmen Jessica Di Cicco (14th) and Laura Faller (15th) with Christina Morelli running 20:48 in 16th place.

Following the initial pack of six runners was Juli Stensland in 18th place in a time of 21:01 and Katie Pencek finishing 27th in 22:14.

The Hawks will compete in the Fordham Invitational on September 15th NY at Van Courtlandt Park in New York.
