BETHLEHEM, PA (10/04/03) -- With most of the Hawk upperclassmen running at Friday's Notre Dame Invitational, some of the younger harriers were able to gain experience at the Paul Short Invitational, one of the east's best races. Freshman Maddie Bell led all SJU runners with a 173rd place finish (24:02.45).

Freshman Sarah Limbach was next in line for SJU, finishing 186th in a time of 24:23.30. Sophomore Anne Marshall placed third for the Crimson and Gray, 199th overall, in 24:48.73. Freshman Rebecca Powell (24:50.91, 201st) and junior Jackie Twomey (25:22.94, 204th) rounded out the top five.
