HAWK WOMEN FINISH THIRD AT FORDHAM ::

NEW YORK, NY (09/13/03) -- Senior captain Amy Manwaring (18:49) placed sixth in a field of 204 harriers to propel Saint Joseph's to a third place showing at the Fordham Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City. Junior Colleen Flanagan finished two spots behind her with a time of 18:54.

Junior Erin O'Donnell was the next Hawk runner to finish, covering the hill and dale in 19:34 (20th overall). Senior Karen Weber (19:36, 22nd) and junior Meghan Gallagher (19:39, 25th) rounded out the Hawk top five.

Freshman Renee Spangler (19:46) placed 30th overall and junior Mary Crossin (19:51) finished 32nd to place sixth and seventh for Saint Joseph's. Columbia won the team title with 29 points, followed by Penn (50), SJU (76), Sacred Heart (144), and Lafayette (148).
