PHILADELPHIA (09/02/03) -- Freshman Renee Spangler started her collegiate career on the right foot by being named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week. The Hawk harrier finished sixth at the 3K Ursinus Invitational and tops among SJU freshman. Saint Joseph's won the five-team event to start the 2003 season.
