Women's Cross Country Runs to 12th Place Finish at ECAC Championships

Bronx, N.Y. - The Saint Joseph's women's cross country team finished 12th at the ECAC Championships in New York on Saturday. Junior Aimee Chegwidden finished first for the Hawks with a 49th place finish on the five-kilometer course. Chegwidden finished the course in 18:36 while Jessica Di Cicco was the second Hawk to cross the finish line in 18:37 (52nd) and Maureen O'Donnell followed in 56th (18:39). Katie Barrett completed the course with an 81st place finish (19:36) and Laura Faller came in at 19:32 (94th), while Christina Morelli (19:36) and Samantha Peters (20:11) closed Hawks scoring in 96th and 101st, respectively. Freshman Sarah Donahue completed the course in 20:29 (104th) and Liz Welsh came in at 20:58 (107th) for the Hawks.
