Women's Cross Country Places 19th at Mid-Atlantic Regionals
Nov. 15, 2008 PRINCETON, N.J. -- The SJU women's cross country team ran to a 19th place showing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Saturday. Kathleen Casey finished 80th on the six-kilometer course at West Windsor Farms hosted by Princeton. Casey completed the course in 24:15. Senior tri-captain Juli Stensland was 111th in a time of 24:52. Christina Morrelli (25:00) and Amy Rhein (25:06) finished back to back in 118th and 119th, respectively. Katie Barrett rounded out the scoring in 123rd in a time of 25:10. The Hawks other two harriers were Jessica Di Cicco (129th) and Kelsey Rose (136th). SJU was without three-time A-10 All-Conference runner Andrea Florida. Saint Joseph's will return to action at the ECAC Championships on Saturday in New York.
