Princess Anne, Md. - The Saint Joseph's women's cross country team took 13th place in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional held at UMES Golf Range/Cross Country Course on Saturday. The Hawks top finisher Aimee Chegwidden was 64th overall in the race.

Chegwidden, who was also the Hawks top-finisher in the A-10 Championships two weeks ago, crossed the line at 23:23. A second behind Chegwidden was junior co-captain Jessica Di Cicco in 66th place (23:24) with fellow co-captain Christina Morelli following soon after in 23:44 (82nd).

Maureen O'Donnell and Katie Barrett rounded out the top 100 in 89th (23:54) and 92nd (23:57) respectively. Rounding out the Hawks scoring was Samantha Peters (24:12) and Laura Faller (25:02) finishing the 6K course in respectively in 107th and 141st of 190 total finishers.

The Hawks compete next in the ECAC Championships on Saturday, November 21.
