Saint Joseph's Competes at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals

BETHLEHEM, PA - Andrea Florida placed 65th in a field of 182 runners at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional to lead the Saint Joseph's women's cross country team to a 19th-place finish on Saturday afternoon at Lehigh University. Florida ran the 6K course in a time of 22:22.7.

Rebecca Powell was Saint Joseph's second finisher, placing 97th with a time of 23:01.2 while Genevieve Story finished 109th with a 23:18.2 time. Maddie Bell placed 125th with a time of 23:37.1 and Katelyn MacCready finished 144th with at time of 24:05.8. Senior Marcy DeLorenzo rounded out the field for Saint Joseph's with a time of 24:15.3 placing 146th.

Princeton won the meet with 64 points and Villanova placed second (98 points) while Georgetown finished third (103 points). La Salle placed fourth with 127 points and Maryland and Bucknell tied for fifth with 187 points.
