STATE COLLEGE, PA - Junior Suzie McHenry was again Saint Joseph's top runner of the day finishing 84th out of 259 at the Penn State National Meet. McHenry finished the 6K course in a time of 22:50, helping Saint Joseph's to its 27th place finish.

Freshman Andrea Florida also had a strong day finishing 95th with a time of 23:01. Florida has had a solid rookie season and is expected to continue to improve.

Also shipping in with a strong effort on the day was sophomore Adriene Beltz (23:53), juniors Renee Spangler (23:55), Maddie Bell (24:03) and Rebecca Powell (24:14) and freshman Katelyn MacCready (24:41).

Amy Rhein (24:42) and Juli Stensland (25:25) rounded out the line up for St. Joe's.

The Hawks closed out the day with a team score of 674 points. Duke came in first place with 22 points, followed by Providence, Tennessee, Penn, and Ohio State.

Saint Joseph's Women's Cross Country takes to the course once again on Saturday, October 29th as they compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships held in Philadelphia, PA.
