McHenry Leads Hawk Women at Spiked Shoe
Sept. 24, 2005 STATE COLLEGE, PA - Junior Suzie McHenry posted another top 10 finish, placing fifth overall, to lead the Saint Joseph's women's cross country team to a fifth place finish at the Spiked Shoe Invitational. SJU also received a top 20 finish from freshman Andrea Florida. McHenry ran well covering the course in a time of 22:12. Florida finished 16th (22:35). SJU also had scorers in junior Renee Spangler, who placed 27th (23:04), sophomore Adrienne Beltz, who finished 48th (23:35) and freshman Amy Rhein, who folloed in 49th place (23:36). Freshman Juli Stensland (57th) and junior Maddie Bell (60th) filled out the lineup. The Hawks totaled 145 points to place fifth behind Yale (34), Indiana University of Pennsylvania (94), Penn State (109) and Bloomsburg (134).
