HAVERFORD, PA - Junior Suzie McHenry shined as the Saint Joseph's women's cross country team opened up the program's 25th fall season at the Haverford Invitational. McHenry took top honors placing first in the individual competition on the three mile course around the Haverford College campus.

SJU which competed against crosstown rivals La Salle and Haverford, also received some eye opening performances from several younger runners. Freshman Andrea Florida placed third overall in a time of 18:44. Sophomore Adrienne Beltz was tenth and another freshman Amy Rhein placed 13th.
