PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's freshman long jumper Nicole McMullen was named Atlantic 10 Track and Field Rookie of the Week, for the week of December 4-10, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.

Competing at the Princeton Invitational on Friday, December 8, McMullen placed second in the long jump, recoding a distance of 18 feet, 6 inches. The rookie also took third place in the 300m dash (41.47) and was a member of the Hawks' 4x400m relay team that finished fourth (4:02.23).

Saint Joseph's returns to action January 5, at the Fordham Invitational.
