HAWK WOMEN OPEN OUTDOOR SEASON AT QUAKER INVITATIONAL

The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team opened the outdoor season with a solid effort at the Penn Quaker Invitational at Franklin Field.

PHILADELPHIA (3/20/04) - The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team opened the outdoor season with a solid effort at the Penn Quaker Invitational at Franklin Field. Top Hawk efforts were delivered by Renee Spangler who placed fourth in the 1500m and Lynn Puzzo who finished fourth in the javelin. SJU also placed third in the 4x800.

Spangler ran 5:54.83 in the 1500, while Puzzo hurled the javelin 100-00.
