SMYTHE TABBED AS A-10 PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
PHILADELPHIA (2/16/04) - Saint Joseph's University sophomore track standout Andria Smythe has been the Atlantic 10's Indoor Track Performer of the Week for the week ending on February 15. Competing at the New Balance Armory Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 14, Smythe posted ECAC qualifying marks in the 60m dash (7.58) and long jump (19-2) events as Saint Joseph's placed 11th out of 30 teams. Both marks are tops in the A-10 this season. Her time of 25.17 in the 200m dash is a school record, while her 60m dash time ties her own school record. Its Smythe's second A-10 Performer of the Week award of the season.
