MANWARING BREAKS SCHOOL RECORD AT ECACS

PRINCETON, NJ (05/18/03) -- Junior Amy Manwaring broke the school record in the 10,000m to lead the Hawk showing at the ECAC Championships at Princeton this weekend. She traversed the 10,000m in 37:14.48 to place 17th in the event. Other Hawk entries included freshman Andria Smythe, who advanced to the semifinals of the 100m dash with a time of 12.16 but was DQed. The 4x800 relay of sophomore Kelly Victory, freshman Thuy Nguyen, sophomore Mary Crossin and senior Sarah Conway also finished 12th (9:08.13). Smythe placed 16th in the long jump with a leap of 17'9 1/2."
