HAWK WOMEN OPEN OUTDOOR SEASON AT QUAKER INVITATIONAL
PHILADELPHIA (03/23/03) - The Saint Joseph's women's track team opened its outdoor season on Sunday at the Quaker Invitational at Penn's Franklin Field. Head coach Kevin Quinn ran a younger squad, but still had some impressive showings.
Leading the way was a fifth place showing by sophomore Colleen Ladden (58.80) in the 400m dash. Junior Amy Manwaring placed fifth in the 5,000m with a time of 18:07.75.
Junior Erin Blaustein finished tied for fourth in the long jump with a leap of 17'0 1/2."
St. Joe's next competes this Saturday at the Lafayette Invitational.
