NEW YORK, NY (02/28/03) - Senior Sarah Conway dropped over a second and a half off her 800m time and won the event at Friday's NYU FastTrack Invitational. With a seed time of 2:14.44, Conway finished with a time of 2:12.81, qualifying for the ECAC Championships and approaching the SJU school record of 2:12.58. Freshman Andria Smythe again had an impressive day, winning the 60m with a season best time of 7.53. She also took gold in the long jump with a leap of 5.79m. Junior Amy Manwaring (10:12.24) and freshman Ann Regan (10:18.03) placed third and fourth in the 3000m, respectively. Sophomore Kelly Victory turned in a fourth place showing in the 800m (2:16.19). Saint Joseph's is back in action this weekend at the ECAC Championships in Boston.
