HAWKS COMPETE AT PENN RELAYS
PHILADELPHIA, PA - Several of the St.
Joseph's women's track team participated in the
prestigious Penn Relays over the weekend.
Senior Gina Bundy was the Hawks top finisher,
claiming silver in the Eastern Triple Jump with
an ECAC qualifying jump of 40'. Fellow senior
Bernadette Speer placed third in the College
High Jump (5'7 1/4) while freshman Sarah Click
placed 10th in the Eastern High Jump (5'3 3/4).
The Distance Medley Relay team of Gabby
Quezada, Mary Korfmacher, Sarah Conway, and Christine Kane placed
third in the College Division with a time of 11:42.42.
Kane also competed in the Olympic Development mile, placing 11th
with a time of 4:25.39.
