HAWKS COMPETE AT PRINCETON
PRINCETON, NJ -The St. Joseph's University
women's track team competed at the Princeton
New Year's Invitational on Saturday, December
9.
Senior Gina Bundy led the way for he Hawks,
placing first in the triple jump while setting a
new meet record of 40'. Freshman Amy
Manwaring fared well in her first collegiate
track race, winning the 3000-meter run with a
time of 10:50.59.
Other highlights include a second place finish by sophomore Sarah
Conway in the 1000-meter run (3:02.80) and a third place finish by
junior Brooke Gilliford in the 55-meter dash (7.48).
The Hawks take a hiatus until the New Year when they compete at
Bucknell on Saturday, January 6.
