EASTON, PA - Senior Andria Smythe placed first in the Long Jump and 60 yard dash while Senior Ann Regan won the Mile and Junior Julie Lentz won the 440 yard dash as the Hawks went on to take third place at the Lafayette Invitational Friday.

Other notable performances came from Freshmen Natalie Miller placing second in the High Jump (5-05.00) and Lauren Fike placing second in the 500 (1:20.14). The Hawks were able to sweep the 440 with Lauren Wallace taking second (1:01.10) behind Lentz and Amanda Guthridge taking third (1:01.80).

Saint Joseph's also had a strong showing in the 4x440. Good effort was shown by all who competed making it a solid opener to the indoor season.

The Hawks earned 110 points on the day with fourteen events scored.
