Hawk Women Open Outdoor Season at Penn

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's track team opened up its out door season with solid results at the Penn Quaker Invitational at Franklin Field. Freshman Jordan Teuber and sophomore Julie Lentz each turned in quality finishes. Teuber finished second in the 100M Dash in a time of 13.24 and also placed third in the 200M (26.41). Lentz, meanwhile placed third in teh 400M (59.34), while clasmate Stacey Cronin was seventh (1:00.33). Lentz and Cronin also teamed with Amanda Guthridge and Colleen Ladden in the 4x400 Relay and helped SJU place third. Lentz, Cronin, Guthridge and and Heather Gerum teamed in the 4x100 Relay with the Hawks finishing fourth. Rebecca Powell was the first of three Hawks across the line in teh 800M, placing fifth in a time of 2:17.44. Valerie Ramirez (16.65) was fifth in the 100M Hurdles. Erin O'DOnnell was second int eh Steeplechase.
