SJU drops to 2-5 on the season, while Nova improves to 6-0. Freshman Erika Guers was the only Hawk to win a set against the city rival, but she fell in defeat at sixth singles, 6-3, 4-6, 6-0. SJU returns to action on Thursday, October 9 when it hosts Loyola (Md.) at 2:30 p.m. Singles
