SJU FINISHES FALL SEASON WITH A 6-1 WIN AT DREXEL
PHILADELPHIA, PA (10/17/01) - The Saint
Joseph's women's tennis team closed out their
fall season yesterday afternoon with a 6-1 win
over Drexel. Sophomore Katie Bobish notched
yet another win as she finishes the fall with a
8-1 record.
The only loss the Hawks suffered was at the
number 1 singles slot as Jance Hoy lost a close
three-set match to the Dragon's Yolanda Duron
(6-3, 2-6, 7-9). Junior Lydia Thomas,
sophomores Lydia Thomas, Pilar Glodzik and Jill Simodejka and
freshman Michelle Savage all tallied wins for SJU.
The women's tennis team concludes their fall season with a record of
3-6.
