NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Saint Joseph's junior Casey Robinson continued to add to her record setting 2011-12 season as she was named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis All-Conference First Team, conference officials announced on Thursday. Setting the Hawks' record for singles victories in a season this year, Robinson is the first player in program history to earn consecutive Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors, having garnered Second Team accolades in 2010-11. Playing at the top singles flight, Robinson posted a 23-6 record and in the process set a new single-season mark for wins at Hawk Hill. Among the victories, she went 8-3 against A-10 foes and 17-5 at No. 1 singles. Robinson's 17 wins at first singles set a new single-season record for the flight, while her .793 winning percentage is the second best for a single year. Earning A-10 Player of the Week honors twice this season, Robinson finished with an 8-14 record in doubles play and helped Saint Joseph's to its most wins, nine, since 2006-07. Amassing a 41-17 record through her first three, Robinson will enter next season fourth all-time in career wins (41) and second all-time in wins at No. 1 singles (32).
