Jan. 13, 2012

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's tennis coach Ian Crookenden announced today that Kristina Eisenbrand (Moorpark, Calif./Thousand Oaks) has signed a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period to play for the Saint Joseph's women's tennis team beginning in the 2012-13 season.

Returning to high school competition after two years away, Eisenbrand posted a 36-0 record in singles matches and helped Thousand Oaks High School win the Marmonte League title this fall. Eisenbrand, who spent the previous two years training and studying in Barcelona, Spain, also won both the Marmonte League's singles title and earned conference MVP honors and All-County distinction.

Prior to moving to Barcelona, Eisenbrand earned All-County accolades as a freshman at Moorpark High School.

The Hawks begin the spring portion of their schedule on January 28 at Navy.
