Hawks Drop Women's Tennis Match to Delaware, 7-0

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team dropped its match versus Delaware, 7-0, at Finnesey Courts on Monday.

The Fightin' Blue Hens earned the first point of the match with wins at all three doubles matches. Saint Joseph's junior Jennifer Kedzierski and freshman Laura Matz fought hard, but fell 8-6 in the first doubles flight to Elena Berry and Lauren Gruber.

In singles action, Delaware posted wins in all six flights as it improves to 1-0 on the season. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 1-2.

Saint Joseph's returns to action this Friday when the Hawks host Drexel at 3 p.m.
