April 20, 2010 PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team capped its regular season in style, sweeping all seven points from Saint Peter's Tuesday at the Saint Joseph's Tennis Complex. Playing her final home match for the Hawks, senior Jhennifer Kedzierski posted a 6-2, 6-1 win over Krysten Chen at No. 1 singles and teamed with sophomore Laura Matz for an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. Junior Maggie Mullaney posted a 6-4, 6-1 win over Joniesa Williams at No. 2 singles and teamed with sophomore Sally Kalani Stainier for an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles. Stainier went on for a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles to clinch the win for SJU. Freshman Nicole Esposito was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 4 singles for the Hawks, wit sophomore Tara Walsh posting a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles. Sophomore Kate Dowd earned a default win at no. 6 singles, with the duo of her and Walsh earning a default win at No. 3 singles. The Hawks now gear up for the Atlantic 10 Tournament this weekend at Saint Louis University. Seedings and match times will be posted later this week. Singles
