Women's Tennis Falls at Fairleigh Dickinson, 7-0

TEANECK, N.J. - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team, still playing without its full roster, fell at Fairleigh Dickinson, 7-0, Tuesday evening. The Hawks return to action this Saturday in dual matches against La Salle and Rhode Island, beginning at 10 a.m. at the SJU Tennis Complex.

The Knights claimed the first point of the match with wins at all three doubles flights. The SJU team of senior Jhennifer Kedzierski and sophomore Laura Matz made No. 1 doubles an extremely close match, but fell 7-4 in a tiebreaker.

In singles action, the Hawks' freshman Nicole Esposito pushed FDU's Egzona Morina to a tiebreaker in the first set, but the Knights' No. 4 player held on for a 7-5 win and would go on to a 6-4 victory in set two as Fairleigh Dickinson swept the singles competition.
