PHILADELPHIA - Atlantic 10 rival Temple easily handled the Saint Joseph's women's team in the squad's first match of the spring season, 6-1 at the TU Pavillion. Alisa Van Meter picked up the lone Hawk victory by defaut.

Temple won all three doubles matches, taking the first and third positions, 8-0.
