March 14, 2010 ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team capped its Spring Break trip with a 4-3 victory over South Dakota State. The Hawks got a win at No. 1 doubles behind a strong 8-4 win by senior Jhennifer Kedzierski and junior Maggie Mullaney, but the Jackrabbits earned the match's first point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Switching to singles competition, Saint Joseph's dominated the top four fights, winning the first four matches to earn the four points and victory. Kedzierski was a 6-3, 7-6 winner at No. 1 singles, while Mullaney posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 2 singles. Freshman Nicole Esposito posted a 6-2, 6-3 win in the third fight, with Tara Walsh earning the win for the Hawks with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.
