ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Facing one of the top teams in the region, the Saint Joseph's women's tennis team posted an upset victory at Navy, 5-2, Saturday morning. The Hawks won five of six singles events to earn their first dual match win of the season. Saint Joseph's (1-1) picked up an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles from the pair of Aurora Davis and Lauren Roy, but Navy won the first point of the match with victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Switching to singles, Casey Robinson fought back after dropping the first set to top Dye Das, 4-6, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Davis followed with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, while freshman Kristina Eisenbrand picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles to give the Hawks three points. Junior Devi Jadeja and sophomore Kelly Mulquin helped earn the victory for SJU with wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles. Jadeja was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at the fourth flight, while Mulquin posted a 7-5, 6-3 win at the fifth flight to capture the match win for the Hawks. Saint Joseph's returns to action at Massachusetts on February 3. Doubles Singles
