Saint Joseph's Rosenwinkel Finishes as 2008 NCAA Doubles Leader

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's junior outfielder Erika Rosenwinkel capped her stellar 2008 season, finishing as the NCAA Division I leader in doubles. The Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference selection topped all Division I student-athletes in doubles, averaging 0.45 per game.

Helping the Hawks back to the A-10 Tournament for the first time since 2005, Rosenwinkel collected a Saint Joseph's single-season record 19 doubles this year, surpassing Kristen Luciano's mark of 18 set in 1997. Rosenwinkel, who also led SJU with three home runs, two triples and 78 total bases, finished with a .354 batting average and career highs in hits (46), runs (32) and RBI (30).
