Hawks to Host Fifth Annual Girls' Soccer Indoor Clinics

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team, under the guidance of head coach Jess Reynolds, will host the Fifth Annual Girls' Soccer Indoor Clinics December 11th and January 7th at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse on the campus of Saint Joseph's University.

Both clinics, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., are open to girls of all levels ages 6-15.

Current Hawk players will be on hand to teach the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. Goalkeeper training will also be taught for those interested.

Girls attending the clinic are asked to bring a water bottle, lunch indoor sneakers, shinguards and a soccer ball with them.

Cost for each session is $50 and includes a free t-shirt. There is a $10 discount if in attendance for both clinics.

SCHEDULE:

9:00 - 9:30: Foot skills and juggling-warm up and stretching

9:30 - 10:30: Passing and receiving (possession)

10:30 - 11:30: Street Soccer (4v4 game competition)

11:30 - 12:30: Lunch and meet with the team

12:30 - 1:00: Foot skills and juggling-warm up and stretching

1:00 - 2:00: Finishing

2:00 - 2:45: Scrimmages 5v5 or 6v6

2:45 - 3:00: Closing Ceremonies
