PHILADELPHIA - Coming off a pair of shutouts this past weekend, Saint Joseph's freshman goalkeeper Christine Neal has been recognized for her play as she was named Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week for the week of September 14-20.

Against city-rival Penn on Friday, Neal shutdown the Quakers' offense, making two saves in the Hawks' 0-0 double-overtime draw against Penn. Two days later, versus Syracuse, Neal made four second-half saves, helping SJU to a 1-0 victory over the Orange.

In her two games, Neal posted a perfect 0.00 goals-against average in 200 minutes of action, while making six saves to improve to 1-3-2 overall with three shutouts.

Neal and Saint Joseph's returns to action next Friday at Massachusetts at 4 p.m.
