BONNIES BOUNCE HAWKS, 3-1

OLEAN, NY (10/13/02) - Saint Joseph's remained winless in its last five matchups with a 3-1 loss at Saint Bonaventure on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, SJU falls to 4-6-1 overall and 1-3-1 in Atlantic 10 play. St. Bonaventure's (7-6, 2-3) freshman Heather McDougall started the scoring off in the 14th minute, giving the Bonnies an early 1-0 lead. The Hawks responded, however, as senior Katie Watson booted one in from 20 yards out to even the score. It was Watson's second goal of the weekend and third of the season, moving her into third place all-time at St. Joe's with 13 goals. McDougall scored the eventual game-winner just four minutes later. The Bonnies added an insurance goal in the 47th minute to close the scoring. The Hawks return home to the friendly confines of Finnesey Field on Friday, October 18, against George Washington at 7 pm. 1 2 F Saint Joseph's 1 0 1 St. Bonaventure 2 1 3
