CARMOSKY NAMED ATLANTIC 10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
PHILADELPHIA (0930/02) - After scoring a goal and an assist this past week, Michelle Carmosky, has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week
A native of Harleysville, Pa., Carmosky assisted on the first goal in Tuesday's 2-1 A-10 win over Temple. Her perfect cross from the left side was wisely let through by Kim Miller to allow a streaking Katie Watson to fire home the goal.
On Sunday, Carmosky tied the game at one in the 89th minute, forcing the SJU contest with Villanova into an extra stanza.
She leads the team in goals (3) and points (7). The Hawks are 4-3 on the season and 1-0 in the Atlantic 10.
