PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's incoming freshman forward Ali Yozwiak (Murrysville, Pa./ Pleasant Valley) has been named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason Women's Soccer All-Rookie Team, conference officials announced on Monday.

An All-State selection at Pleasant Valley High School, Yozwiak set both the program's single-season and career-records for goals and points. A four-year starter, she nearly doubled the all-time record mark of 69 goals, capping her career with 124 goals to go with 289 points. The Mountain Valley Conference MVP this past season, Yozwiak is the first Hawk to be named to the A-10's Preseason All-Rookie Team.

Yozwiak and Saint Joseph's open the 2009 season at home versus Providence on August 28.
