PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team will play an exhibition game against West Chester University this Sunday, April 25, prior to the Philadelphia Independence's home game at John A. Farrell Stadium. The Hawks and Rams open play at 2 p.m. with the Independence hosting the Washington Freedom at 6 p.m.

Saint Joseph's is coming off a 2009 campaign in which it tied for eighth in the Atlantic 10 and had two Hawks garner conference accolades. The Hawks, who return 19 letterwinners for the 2010 season, begins the weekend with an exhibition game at Delaware at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Playing in its inaugural season, the Philadelphia Independence drew over 6,000 fans for its home opener against Atlanta on April 11 and are currently 0-0-2 overall.

Tickets for Sunday's contests can be purchased at the Independence's website (www.wpsphillyindependence.com) or at John A. Farrell Stadium on game day.
