Saint Joseph's to Host City 6 Girls Soccer Clinic April 23rd

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team, in conjunction with the City 6, is hosting a girls soccer clinic on Sunday, April 23 at 5 p.m. at Finnesey Field. All proceeds from the clinic will go to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Oncology Unit.

The clinic, which is open to girls age 6-to-15, will run from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Current players and coaches from Saint Joseph's, Drexel, La Salle, Penn Temple and Villanova will be on hand to teach the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. Goalkeeper training will also be taught for those interested.

Girls attending the clinic are asked to bring a water bottle, cleats and shinguards with them.

A $25 donation will be collected to help support the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Oncology Unit and should be made out to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

5:00-5:10 p.m. Opening Ceremonies
5:10-5:30 p.m. Foot skills and juggling-warm up and stretching
5:30-7:30 p.m. Stations- Finishing, defending, coervers and 1v1's, possession, passing and receiving, long balls and receiving air balls.
7:30-7:50 p.m. Small Sided Games
7:50-8:00 p.m. Closing Ceremonies
