Saint Joseph's Women's Soccer Posts Fifth Best Improvement Nationally

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team was the fifth most improved team in Division I in 2008 according to a recent poll by Somis Sports. The Hawks made a five game improvement from 2007 to 2008, going from 3-15-1 to 8-7-4, and scored 16 more goals this year.

Somis Sports calculated a team's improvement by comparing a team's final 2008 rating to an adjusted 2007 rating. Based on this calculation, the five teams listed below showed the most improvement in 2008 vs. 2007. A team's rating roughly equates to net goals (goals scored minus goals against).
