PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team announced that three scholastic standouts - Maura Daly, Angelica Grebenschikoff and Emily Serkes - have signed National Letters of Intent during the early signing period to attend the University in the fall of 2013.

Daly is a 6-foot senior from Broomall, Pa., and Archbishop Carroll High School. Grebenschikoff is a 6-foot senior, who attends Atlantic City High School and resides in Margate, N.J. Serkes, from Pittsburgh, Pa., is a 5-10 senior at Oakland Catholic High School.

"Our staff has worked very hard this year in locating exceptional athletes to come to Hawk Hill and contribute to our team immediately," said head coach Gerry Quinlan. "We are very excited about our recruiting class so far. We have just a few seniors this season, so these student-athletes will come in vie for seats in the Varsity right away. We really feel like 2013-14 is going to be a very special year with these freshmen playing a big role for us."
