SJU adds new shell to the Dad Vail-Champion program

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team dedicated its newest edition to the fleet Sunday, October 1 as the Hawks christened the 'Festina Lente'.

Following Mass with team members, families and alumni in the SJU Boathouse, the boat was blessed by President Fr. Timothy Lannan and dedicated by Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Lenfest. The shell was rowed at the end of last season and has already made history by winning the Dad Vail V8.
