Philadelphia, PA.(4/21/01) -  A limited squad raced the Murphy Cup on the Schuylkill on Saturday. The Women's Freshman 8 took to the water against a tough heat that included Temple, Villanova, Rochester, Penn State and Pittsburgh. Temple took the lead and held it through the 2000m, becoming the eventual grand final winner as well. SJU made a strong move at the wire that separated them from Penn State and Pittsburgh but there was not enough distance left to take Rochester and make it to the final.
