PHILADELPHIA - The Freshmen Women wrapped up the 2005 season with tremendous performances at the Forstbite Regatta. The Hawks boated two Frosh 8s and a Frosh 4 - winning the Four and one Eight handily and finishing a very strong second in the other 8. The second place 8 showed guts and maturity coming from behind, pulling through three boats to finish with the silver. Eight of the nine women in the boat first picked up an oar six weeks ago and are now showing the confidence of veteran rowers.

The team enters the winter training in great position looking forward to the spring. The freshman boats have been strong and the varsity squad is coming off one the best fall seasons in program history.
