PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing Varsity 8 regained the Kelly Cup as the Philadelphia City Champions, capturing the race at Saturday's Bergen Cup on the Schuylkill River.

The Varsity 8 consisted of: cox Kristen Bonnici, 8-Liz Sauter, 7-Debbie Bateman, 6-Kaitie Reehill, 5-Kelly McKinley, 4-Meg Stanton, 3-Alicia Easby-Smith, 2-Emma Harmon, 1-Colleen Greway. The crew finished the course in 6:07, more than eight seconds ahead of second place Drexel.

The Hawks finished second in all other races and will now turn their attention to preparing for the Dad Vail Regatta (May 11-12)
