PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team earned a first-place finish in the Freshman 4 at the Kelly Cup on the Schuylkill River.

SJU outdistanced Philadelphia University and Temple to gain the win.

The Hawks, the two-time defending Kelly Cup champions, finished second in the Varsity 8 with the lineup of:

c- Andi Hartfield (Jr.), 8- Brianne Kammerman (So.), 7- Colleen Greway (Jr.), 6- Christina DiSanto (Jr.), 5- Debbie Bateman (Sr.), 4- Danielle Brady (So.), 3- Colleen Smith (So.), 2- Lauren Rozsits (Jr.), 1- Lauren Sysol (Sr.)

The Hawks' Freshman 8 took third with a lineup of: c- Betsy Thompson, 8- Bridget Dempsey, 7- Ariana McDevitt, 6- Julie Shillington, 5- Rachel Shustack, 4- Christine Reilly, 3- Jackie Castorino, 2- Erin Butler, 1- Norma DiCocco
