2002-03: Was part of Freshman 8 boat that was the Hawks' most decorated that season. Advanced to the finals in seven regattas, winning gold at both the ECAC and Murphy Cup, as well as the A-10 Fall Regatta, while taking silver at both the A-10 Championship and the Dad Vail. 2003-04: Rowed on Varsity 8. Narrowly missed medals at several events. Qualified for the Petite Final at the San Diego Crew Classic, G.W. Invitational and Knecht Club. Finished fourth three times during the year, including at the Murphy Cup and A-10 Championships. At the Dad Vail, they easily won its qualifiying heat and knocked long-time nemesis Purdue to the petite with a victory in the semifinal. In the Grand Final, the V8 made a huge move late and was in medal contention down stretch, but was edged out of medals at the wire missing a silver medal by 0.5 seconds and a bronze by only 0.2 seconds after crossing the finish in a time of 7:02.43 |
